This car more than qualifies as a 'pig', I bought this one fom Blackbush car auction for £100. My apprentice at the time; Jemma, took me to the auction and I intended
to be driving home in a car; any car it didn't matter just as long as it was cheap, a few cars came through but were all too expensive until this car arrived; it attracted no bids so I bid at the last moment, it was worth the money
just to see the look on Jemma's face; she couldn't believe it, priceless.
I did absolutley nothing to this car, not even put a glass in the indicator, I just drove it and it went quite well actually but boy was it rusty. The tailgate was just a flap of metal hanging down if you grabbed the handle the door wouldn't open, the tailgate just peeled apart.
We went on holiday to Scotland with this car, it was actually very good as long as we stopped every 50 or so miles to fill up with water in the engine; we took it on the basis that as long as
we got there we could use the breakdown service to get home but we didn't need it as the car managed both journeys with the only loss being a small reservoir of water and the drivers side windscreen wiper.
I didn't sell this car I part exchanged it against my wife's next car, the Probe and we got £500 for it, nice result.
